Bright Night 5k 2012

Third Time's a Charm!

It's time again to get ready. The 2011 race was such a success, and we're excited to see how Bright Night will continue to grow. Registration will be available soon, and we'll see you all on May 19th, 2012!

The starting line!

The Reason

We run the Bright Night 5k to celebrate our friend Emily Bright and to raise awareness of ovarian cancer. The proceeds from the race will go to A Bright Light Charitable Fund, where it will be used to support the research and treatment of ovarian cancer. Find out more about our mission on the Mission page.

The Event

We'll be running again through the streets of the Lynndale neighborhood. This is Greenville’s only twilight run, and we think it’s a pretty good idea. In May, with still-mild temps and a later sunset, we get a chance to run and walk together through a great neighborhood, and we still finish early enough to enjoy some live music on the patio at Moe’s. So come run. Or walk. Or cheer. Or have a burrito while your friends race.

Check out the Race Info page for the course map, start time, and more.

Donate

If you can’t attend the event and still want to support our cause, you can always make a donation. Your support will also be recognized at the run. More details on our Donation page.
